You did huge influential things and your music touched so many. It is because of you that so many more will be influenced and impacted in your name.

We suffer a great loss and there is truly a dark spot on our hearts today- but Etta was one of the strongest women who ever graced our towns and lives, and we hope her family and her team may find strength in remembering her beautiful life.

Etta James was73 years old. She passed away this morning at Riverside Community Hospital in California after quite the battle with Leukemia. She’ll be missed and honored always.
